Senior Audit Manager – Leading Lender (Dublin / Hybrid)

FS Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Audit Manager on behalf of a leading lender in the financial services market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional to deliver high-quality internal audit services across Irish operations, providing objective assurance to senior management and the Board while supporting strong risk management and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver end-to-end audit activity in line with the annual audit plan
Produce high-quality, insightful reports on the effectiveness of internal controls
Drive the annual audit planning process with a focus on current and emerging risks
Provide analysis and input into the annual risk assessment and audit plan
Act as a key point of contact for senior Irish stakeholders, including ExCo
Monitor changes to the risk profile and contribute to the identification of emerging risks
Maintain oversight of audit activities and ensure governance and compliance standards are met
Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Experience & Skills

Strong background in internal audit within banking or financial services
Proven understanding of risk and control principles
Solid knowledge of credit risk and Irish regulatory frameworks
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, delivering to deadlines and within budget

Desirable

Experience of business process and control frameworks within financial services
Technical and regulatory knowledge relevant to the Irish lending sector

Salary 85,000 - 95,000
