The Role

  • Working alongside our Managing Director to devise, develop and implement business growth strategies.

  • Sourcing and screening candidates for live job requirements across banking, financial services, accountancy & real estate.

  • Manage all stages of the recruitment process from cradle to grave for both the client and the candidate.

  • Provide a best-in-class service to both candidates and clients

  • Business development and identifying sales leads while also networking in order to grow the business and seek opportunities before they come to market.

  • Create and develop your own book of business in an area that you are passionate about across our specialisms.

  • Becoming an expert in your field and be seen as the go to person in your area of specialism.

  • Marketing and grow the FS Recruitment brand through social media avenues.

  • Establish a presence and network on LinkedIn.

  • Advertise and create creative job adverts through Indeed, LinkedIn and our website.

  • Deliver on realistic sales and revenue targets.

  • Ensure highest standards and quality are met when representing candidates to clients.

  • Attending client and candidate meetings and networking events.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Preferably recruitment experience within banking or the financial services sector.

  • Have a transferrable skillset, for example someone coming from a retail banking or SME banking background where sales, upselling and customer service are part and parcel of the role.

  • Someone coming from a customer service or sales background outside of banking or finance but with an interest in the area we would also welcome speaking to.

  • Have excellent communication skills, enjoy interacting with people and be comfortable speaking with candidates and clients at all levels of the business.

  • Commercially focused with a hunger and drive to deliver results and revenue.

  • Self starter and self motivated.

  • Strong attention to detail is paramount to the role.

  • Take pride in maintaining the highest standards and quality.

  • Must be eager to learn and absorb information regarding best practises and standards.

  • Have a passion for business development and winning new business.
