RELATIONSHIP MANAGER - SME LENDING

Overview:


My client a leading SME lending is currently recruiting for Relationship Manager on a 12-month FTC with view to permanency.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with banking experience that has exposure to client and stakeholder management to get into a multinational SME lender

The company is passionate about building long lasting relationships with SME’s across a number of different sectors and are looking for someone who is also passionate about client service.

As Relationship Manager, you will proactively manage the client relationship on a portfolio of clients by delivering outstanding client service and effectively managing the risk. You will ensure the facility operations of a portfolio of clients runs to order through completion of facility reviews, analysing Management Information, reviewing Audit Reports and ensuring compliance of all client Operating Conditions.

Your responsibilities as Relationship Manager will include:

  • Monitoring client’s facility performance identifying opportunities and risk, completing facility reviews and proposing facility changes as appropriate; analysing and processing monthly financial information; completing audit commentary, ensuring KYCs up to date and carrying out client visits as determined by the client status and visit matrix

  • Proactively managing clients' financial positions in respect of their facility with Bibby and understanding your client portfolio and their business. Providing excellent client service and negotiating and securing client contract renewals and extensions

  • Through liaising with Client Service Team, ensuring the facility operation is fit for purpose, addressing any concerns direct with clients and managing the risk proactively


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within financial service industry/similar level role

  • A strong work ethic and ability to interpret financial information (financial accounts, cashflow forecasts, debtors, creditors, banking, revenue)

  • A passion for client service and building relationships with confidence

  • Professional and clear communication skills; face to face, on the phone, on e-mail and in formal written communication

  • A confident decision maker who takes responsibility for actions, can use own initiative, prioritise work and plan ahead

  • A highly organised individual who demonstrates independence and effective time management

  • Someone who role models reliable, consistent and trustworthy behaviour


On Offer:

  • Salary €50,000 -  €55,000
