CORPORATE BANKING ASSOCIATE - FRENCH OR SPANISH
Overview
My client a Global Corporate Banking entity with operations in Ireland are currently seeking a Portfolio Credit Analyst with either a French or Spanish languages background.
This role will look after the risk, reviewing and monitoring of a portfolio across the commercial, retail and industrial sectors.
Main Responsibilities

Reviewing and monitoring an assigned portfolio .

Performing regular Credit Analysis reviews, intensified management reviews and /or ad hoc reviews on the individual line items (or overall sub segment) in the portfolio, including recommendations

Working closely with the Portfolio Managers to prepare comprehensive and in-depth strategies regarding assets in the portfolios, as well as the portfolios themselves

Following the wider economic developments including legal, regulatory, and political developments, industry trends and rating actions

Liaising and coordinating with other internal departments, for example PM, Legal

Operations to ensure seamless management of the Clients’ portfolio to assure deliverables detailed by the relevant SLAs with clients
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, Graduate Degree or CFA preferred

Several years of comparable credit risk experience

Good knowledge and experience with corporate banking across commercial, retail and industrial

Good knowledge of financial analysis and financial model development
-
Good knowledge of credit risk analysis

Good knowledge of Microsoft Products

Good knowledge of Rating Tools

Good knowledge of Credit Data Bases

Strong analytical, conceptual, and methodological abilities

Strong communication skills and confident manner

High awareness for quality and responsibilities as well as drive for results

Above average level of engagement, own initiative and organizational skill
Languages needed:

High standard of oral and written English
-
High standard of oral and written French or Spanish
-
Good standard in other continental European languages an advantage
Salary: €65,000 - €90,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
