An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading loan servicing organisation to join the Mortgage Servicing department. My client specialises in loan servicing and the management of customer debt. The role will provide the successful candidate with a fantastic insight into financial services and the opportunity to communicate and build relationships with a number of different stakeholders within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and maintaining shared mailboxes.

  • Collections of monies owing, including communications with solicitors for redemption of the loan and legal paperwork.

  • Dealing with vulnerable customers on the phone – will require ability to explain legal and financial terms to borrowers and/or 3rd party authorities relating to the loan.

  • Processing of monthly, quarterly and annual tasks.

  • Resolving any queries from clients/Customers in a timely and professional manner.

  • Managing workflow of cases to ensure SLA’s are met to include the issuing of required letters.

  • Contribute to the development of systems/processes for the overall improvement of efficiencies throughout the department.

  • Undertake specific area or areas of responsibility as may be allocated.

  • To carry out any other ad-hoc duties as requested.

Person specification:

  • QFA or APA in housing loans desirable.

  • Previous experience working in a busy department

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Experience in mortgage lending desirable but not essential

  • Excellent organization and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail essential.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Salary: €28,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
