CREDIT UNION MORTGAGE RELATIONSHIP MANAGERS

We are delighted to exclusively partner with Credit Union Mortgage Services to bring an exciting and unique opportunity to the market for experienced Mortgage Relationship Managers to manager credit union relationships, upskill staff and promote new mortgage product offerings.

CU Mortgages Services DAC is a collaborative initiative by the Credit Union sector to offer competitive mortgage products to the communities throughout Ireland.

The new company will be staffed by experienced mortgage professionals operating countrywide in hybrid roles.


Reporting to the Head of Mortgage Operations, the main responsibilities of the Credit Union Mortgages Relationship Managers are to:

  • Provide financial advice to Credit Unions and borrowers on mortgage products.

  • Meet and liaise with Credit Unions and mortgage applicants to guide them through the mortgage journey, when required.

  • Handle with Credit Union queries on mortgage products and applications.

  • Train Credit Unions regarding mortgage products.

  • Support the Credit Unions in:

(a) marketing and promoting of Credit Union mortgages.

(b) satisfying regulatory and compliance requirements.

(c) Ensuring adherence to mortgage policies and procedures.

  • Help Credit Unions and the Company to achieve mortgage lending targets.


The successful candidates will have:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a mortgage advisor working in a mortgage sales role with a Credit Union, bank or mortgage broker.

  • A relevant mortgage lending qualification (e.g. QFA, CUA, APA Loans).

  • A detailed knowledge and understanding of:

(a) mortgage lending regulations.

(b) mortgage related products (e.g. mortgage protection, home insurance, life assurance).

(c) anti-money laundering requirements.

  • A strong focus on service delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Work, Excel)

  • Attention to detail and very good organisational skills.

  • Ability to work on their own initiative to achieve agreed objectives.


On Offer:

  • Salary 55 - 65k + expenses upto 20k

  • 10% pension

  • 23 days annual leave
