About the Role

This position supports the CRE Lending team in identifying and developing lending opportunities within the Commercial Real Estate and SME markets across Ireland. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to valued customers and helping the company achieve its overall objectives.

As part of the team, you will focus on generating lending opportunities, credit report writing, ensuring efficient and customer-focused service delivery. Your responsibilities will include navigating the lending application process, collaborating with the wider team, and engaging directly with customers to ensure quick turnaround times.

The role involves preparing detailed and accurate credit reports, interacting with customers to collect necessary information, and liaising with internal teams, suppliers, auditors, funders, and external advisors. You will represent the company in a professional manner, creating value at every customer touchpoint. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Meet with customers, structure proposals, and issue Term Sheets.

  • Credit Preparation: Draft detailed credit reports for the CRE Lending team and submit them to the Credit Committee.

  • Process Management: Follow up with customers to ensure conditions precedent are met, and coordinate with solicitors during execution.

  • Operational Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of transaction processing, maintain attention to detail, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

  • Product Knowledge: Build expertise across products and services to maximize customer value.

  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate adaptability, seek solutions for customers and the team, and approach challenges with flexibility.

 

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in lending, restructuring, or a related area within financial services.

  • Strong understanding of financial information, with the ability to interpret and analyze data.

  • Experience drafting credit reports is an advantage.

  • Minimum competency qualification such as QFA, APA, or a relevant 3rd-level qualification.
