HR DIRECTOR
Human Resources Director
My client a global financial services provider operating in the banking space is currently seeking an experienced HR Director to oversee their Irish HR operations. This role will sit on the ExCom.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate HR leader with a proven track record.

Responsibilities
Designing, implementation, leading the firms D&I strategy
Developing, implementing, maintaining the firms resourcing plan
Leading recruitment – both internal talent acquisition team as well as external recruiters – as well as clearly defined resourcing metrics
Managing disciplinary processes
Maintenance – ensuring suite of job specs, objectives, people SLA/KPIs and procedures remain are in place
Leading the firms learning and developing strategy
Leading H&S strategy and implementation
Remuneration – overseeing payroll (which is done at group level) but also recommending the firms remuneration strategy to board
Ensuring that all relevant people policies are in place
Leading the firms engagement narrative
Designing the firms resourcing plan by working with the business leaders within the firm to determine present (and future resourcing needs) and associated RAG status
Requirements
Action orientated hands on leader
Highly commercial Business Leader with extensive HR Business partner experience – making value add contribution outside simply HR matters
Cultural sensitivity to operate in two countries, aligning leadership and seeking to achieve synergies and shared practices.
Ideally experience operating across geographies
Experienced driving organisational design – demonstrating commercial benefits.
Clear demonstration of how they maximise the employee journey – putting their best interests first
Strong commercial and strategy capabilities
Ideally experience in financial services and regulatory sectors
Ideally knowledge of financial services regulatory environment – ideally across UK and Ireland
Exceptionally strong leader of others – delivering through others, providing space for the team to flourish
Strong team working ethic, collegiate, with a proven ability to build and sustain relationships
Experience of improving business performance whilst maintaining defined corporate culture
Very comfortable working at pace.
