SENIOR CREDIT LOAN OPS MANAGER

Overview:

Our client a corporate banking entity based in Dublin is currently seeking to hire a senior credit loan ops professional who will be responsibility for managing, recording and maintenance of credit facilities, related fees, credit collateral and client covenants based on instruction from Credit Administration teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure data attributes are captured completely and accurately in the relevant systems

  • Verify that credit liability structures are set up as instructed

  • Register covenants and collateral data and create appropriates linkages to credit facilities

  • Manage all fee related activities including calculation, invoicing, settlement and reporting

  • Authenticate standard settlement instructions as part of set up

  • Manage other static data maintenance activities related to a client portfolio as needed

  • Perform a data management specialist role for facilities, fees, collaterals and covenants and act as a super user

  • Escalate effectively to deal with bottlenecks, knowledge gaps or barriers

  • Check the correctness, completeness and reliability of documents according to the procedure, work instruction and policies

  • Co-ordinate the group/team work duties, meetings and reporting

  • Take a leadership role in developing team members competency and confidence through continuous development, performance management and adherence to the Learning and Development strategy

  • Foster strong partnerships with our customers and key stakeholders, supporting the delivery of quality services in line with agreed service levels by being able to translate issues into solutions

  • Liaise with the Service Delivery Manager to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements with regard to policy, processes, procedures and/or products.

  • Lead by example by using standard problem solving and improvement approaches where potential improvement areas are identified

  • Identify and understand risks and seek to mitigate, reduce or accept these as part of the Risk Control Framework.

  • 1st line of defence - Contribute to the controlling of risks within the organisation by providing information, analysis and reporting about the degree of risk control


Education & Experience

  • Business degree or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Services preferably Banking

  • Competent in MS Office

  • High level of numeric and written competence

  • Team leadership in a culture where customer focus and continuous improvement are paramount

Salary: €50,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
