FINANCIAL CONTROLLER 12 MONTH FTC

Overview

My client and international financial services company with operations in Ireland are currently recruiting for a Financial Control specialist on a 12month FTC.

The successful candidate will gain excellent experience within a progressive organisation that will develop their career in addition to gaining unrivalled exposure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare rolling budget and forecasts seeking input and approval from various stakeholders.

  • Monthly reporting of cost dashboard and forecasting of future trends and results.

  • Provide financial control support to a dynamic team.

  • Finance point of contact

  • Cost control, liaising with department heads to rectify any negative budget variances.

  • Prepare reports on results, trends and budget variance analysis for all stakeholders.

  • Follow up on cash settlements.

  • Monitor risks and ensure controls are in place to mitigate them.

  • Identify and implement improvements in processes.

  • Working with intercompany recharges.



Successful Candidate will have:

  • Be a fully qualified accountant.

  • Good knowledge of budget preparation and management reporting

  • Have at least 3 years accountancy related experience within financial services.

  • Experience dealing with intercompany recharges.

  • Good technical knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines including IFRS.

  • Be ambitious and hard working.

  • Be very comfortable working on their own initiative and within a team.

  • Have excellent IT skills.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
