SETTLEMENTS OFFICER - CORPORATE BANKING

Overview:

Our client a leading International Corporate Bank is currently recruiting for a Settlements Administrator to join their well established high performing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a broad knowledge of the business through acquiring a good understanding of the loan, security, swap agreements and money market borrowings and placements in relation to the drawdown, schedule of receipts payments and maturity

  • Based on a good knowledge and understanding of the various transactions ensure all cash movements are executed on a timely and accurate basis

  • Input all payments accurately and on a timely basis. 

  • Ensure all payments are approved and released on time.

  • Maintain accounts to ensure all receipts and payments have been processed accurately and on time. Highlight and escalate any issues

  • Monitor cashflows on a daily basis and advise General Manager when the position needs to be increased or reduced.

  • Prepare document and liaise with counterparties for the drawdown or maturity of loans, securities and swaps.

  • Work with the General Manager on the approval of loans, responsible for ensuring all necessary documents are sent and received prior to drawdown and the drawdown is accurately input into the system.

  • Maintain the contact points of clients and ensure effective communication channels are maintained with clients, traders, colleagues and management so as to ensure that top quality customer service is achieved and maintained.

  • Ensure that all correspondence is prepared, checked and distributed to counterparties on a timely and accurate basis and queries are dealt with efficiently.

  • Ensure all products/deal types are booked on in house systems accurately and on a timely basis.

  • Provide necessary information to enable Cash Positions reports to be prepared on a timely and accurate basis.

  • Ensure all information prepared or obtained relating to the position is organised and filed in such manner so as to facilitate access by management at any time.

  • General administration and general company operational duties.

  • Complete ad hoc office duties as required

Salary: €38,000 - €42,000 base
