CORPORATE LOAN ADMINISTRATOR
My client a global corporate bank that deals with some of the largest aviation clients globally amongst other large corporates is currently seeking a corporate loans administrator to deal with the corporate loan portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow a career within corporate banking.
This role would particularly suit someone coming from a loan compliance or legal background at the early stages of their career.
Responsibilities:
Accurately set up and maintain system of records for our portfolio of deals.
Review and respond to analytic requests in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain a current level of industry knowledge and comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable government regulations. Prepare industry studies as required.
Adhere to all policies and procedures and have an ability to implement and monitor controls.
Responsible for the maintenance of syndicated bilateral Loans and Securities.
Act as point of contact for client queries/requests and drive resolution of issues relating to client accounts
Generate deal summary documentation for individual transactions identifying deal-specific terms/nuances
Ensure the requirements of all relevant internal policies are implemented
Responsibility for preparing/supporting Credit Officer and General Manager in the case of loan approvals including writing Credit Application Forms.
Review transaction documentation including checking that the contents of approval applications match the legal document or transaction summary.
To prepare the prompt filing of all reporting requirements to Head Office.
Undertake ad-hoc projects as required or any other duties as instructed by the General Manager.
Compliance Responsibilities:
AML/CTF KYC Sanctions screening, on-going monitoring:
Risk rating customers and carrying out due diligence based on the risk level;
Screening customers for sanctions, PEPs etc;
Obtaining the required CDD documentation/information from clients;
Performing periodic reviews of customers;
Compiling MI for AML/CTF reporting purposes;
Support meeting Data Protection, EMIR, Central Credit Register regulatory obligations;
Support adoption of and compliance with new regulatory requirements or guidelines, as they arise;
Input into reviewing and updating of policies, procedures and related documentation;
Responding to queries from Compliance.
Duties and responsibilities may change as the role evolves and in particular if there are changes to regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experience:
Degree in Law, Business or related field. A Compliance or AML/CTF qualification/certification would be advantageous for the role;
Ability to resolve transactional and deal related issues
Familiarity with financial services business, experience in banking an advantage;
Ability to understand and interpret regulatory requirements;
Attention to detail, thorough with commitment to accuracy,
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload;
Self-motivated and able to work independently;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
Computer literate in Microsoft office applications.
