Compliance & Quality Assurance - Specialist

 

About the Role

This role is to support a leading CRE lending team in developing lending opportunities in the Commercial Real Estate markets in Ireland. You will work hand in hand with the CRE Lending Team to ensure documentation, compliance and quality assurance is maintained to the highest level and service excellence delivered for valued customers across the division.

You will be part of a team focused on generating lending opportunities across the Commercial Real Estate market in Ireland.

You will have an understanding of the lending applications process and will work with the wider team to drive fast and efficient turnaround times. You will draft accurate and detailed credit reports, engage with customers requesting information and deal with the CRE lending team, customers, suppliers, auditors, funders, and external advisors in a professional manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Looking after operational elements for the CRE team.

  • Dealing with compliance and quality assurance for the division

  • Ensuring loan documentation is in place and accurate

  • Drafting reports for senior management

  • Follow up with customers to ensure conditions precedent are satisfied in a timely manner and liaise with solicitors to assist in the execution process.

  • Liaising with customers, structuring proposals, and issue Term Sheets.

  • Prepare credit reports on behalf of the CRE lending team for submission to the Credit Committee.

  • Develop and demonstrate a strong knowledge across all transaction processing elements, act at all times with strong attention to detail and play your part to drive on going improvements.

  • Adhere to and ensure policies and procedures are kept up throughout the division.


Requirements for the role

  • Experience: 2 - 5 years’ experience of working in a lending or back-office area of a financial services company is beneficial.

  • A clear understanding of financial information and the ability to interpret same, and experience of drafting reports.

  • Qualifications: Minimum competency - QFA /APA /3rd level qualification

Salary: €35,000 - €42,000 + excellent benefits & hybrid working.
