Business Development Manager - SME Lending - Munster Region
My client a leading SME finance provider is currently seeking a Business Development Manager who is a sale’s focused individual and who is keen to progress and develop a career as a BDM within SME lending.
This role will suit someone who is looking for career progression, passionate about developing relationships and networking and wants to be part of a growing and leading company within SME lending.
The successful candidate will work with the Head of Credit and the Head of Business Development on new ideas, incentives, and recommendations to improve company performance in order to remain competitive and provide the best SME funding solution across Ireland.
Responsibilities
Develop relationships with intermediaries such as financial advisors, accountants and solicitors.
Working closely with Credit Team with the prompt SLAs for all loan applications.
Collaborating with Head of Originations Team on improving client interactions and processing of loan applications in a timely manner
Engaging directly with clients/intermediaries via face to face meetings, telephone, email and other forms
Attend events and promote the brand
Creates his/her own ideas and fosters a culture of entrepreneurial spirit with brokers and SME clients
Pipeline management to keep all loan applications/offers current and on track.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with all stakeholders including SME clients, and external brokers.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with the loan process
Assists with marketing
Required
2-5 years experience working within the banking or financial services sector within SME lending.
Positive “can do” attitude with a hunger to learn and develop.
Excellent listening and communication skills
Hunger for sales
Knowledge of credit and loan process and procedures.
Salary - €40,000 - €50,000 base salary plus commission
